Earn from hardware that sits idle

One install script, and a card that is doing nothing pays for itself. You keep 85%, and you can take the machine back whenever you want it.

A card that is not being used is worth exactly nothing. This is the other side of every job above.

Why it is hard

  • Idle hardware is a sunk cost getting worse

A GPU bought for work that has finished, or for hours you are not awake for, is depreciating either way.

  • Renting it out yourself is a job

Finding renters, agreeing a price, isolating them from your machine and collecting the money is more work than the money is worth.

  • You still need the machine sometimes

Any arrangement that makes it hard to take your own hardware back is not worth entering.

What answers it

  • One install script

The agent registers the machine, reports what it has, and takes work when work is available.

  • You keep 85%

The split is exact integer arithmetic on a euro ledger, so no cent is lost in rounding. What you earned and what we took are both on the line.

  • It is still your machine

Take it offline when you want it. Renters run in containers that cannot reach the host, and the container and its scratch volume are destroyed when the rental ends.

How billing works

usage_eventsbilled per second, EURlaunchmeter starts with the containerheartbeat10s at the price frozen at matchstopmeter stops, nothing after

per second, to the microeuro · no minimum · no egress fee · idle costs nothing

Metering starts when the container does and stops when it stops. The rate is frozen the moment you match, so a provider re-pricing cannot change a running rental, and an aborted run costs what it used.

Install once, and the card earns while you are not using it.
